*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I see, I went from position 103 to 96, and a lot in front of me moved 6-7 positions, then we get no12 saying they got shipment, guess another piece of mystery which will forever remain in OCUKs vault unanswered.

You are assuming that they have more information to give that they are wilfully withholding...

Anything beyond what is confirmed as actually shipped to OCUK doesn't meet the standard of 'information' for me.

If you want best guesses and hints at what may be shipping at some point but not actually confirmed then it may be interesting, but it isn't something you can rely on sadly.

I do suspect there is going to be better news in a week or two and much better news once we get to the middle of November and beyond, but so far this has mostly gone as predicted with very little stock moving up to now so we shouldn't be surprised.

Another places are being very open to the point of telling customers what cards and from who are coming in.
There is a place we all know that stopped taking back orders as they knew the customers would lose it.

Here we get Gibbo now and then post very little info.
And he doesn't come in here to chat with the people.

Some 3080 buyers bought when there was a "In Stock" icon showing.

Those copy and paste Trustpilot responses trying to gaslight users into thinking they were actually informed after all. Doh, silly me! Now you mention it, I was actually kept in the loop with good communication all this time, I just couldn't see it!

OC problem is they are not being honest with shipments ! Getting 0-10 cards a week is not good enough ! Not when this product was released over 5 weeks ago. Not surprised people are mad when over £800 left your bank account 5 weeks ago and you still have no ETA , OC this is not good enough , all you have to do is be honest and let people know a rough date, this company is going to get bad reviews for the simple fact they are not being honest with customers its as simple as that. I work for a massive buying department myself in the UK & I know when and how many products I am going to receive on Monday ! If OC dont have this information they need to update there systems asap.

The thing I hate about the response is "look, other tech things are having problems too!" and suggests the oculus quest 2 was also suffering from supply issues.
I ordered mine on a whim two days before release from a competitor, it arrived on release day, and I could buy another one right now if I wanted to...

You are wasting your breath my friend, no one from the shop will be reading here, this is just a hole they created to put all the customers they upset in so they don't have to listen to them

You're in denial. OC tells us exactly what is up and that is that there aren't any cards beyond the few that gibbo posts. They probably can't trust the shipping promises from AIB's either. They would love to tell us a date, but they don't have a reliable date.

It's NVIDIA that's not making enough chips - and NVIDIA ain't talking.

@Gibbo @EVH

Good afternoon,

We need some sort of update on Zotac Trinity non OC cards. Cards that weren't for sale on launch day (Trinity OC) are arriving quicker than the card I ordered on the 17th of September. I'm hearing nothing from you, the card is no longer available to even pre-order on your website strangely. Thing is, I'd cancel my order and join the Trinity OC queue with this company if there's more chance of me getting that card first. I think you should at least be able to tell us if we're wasting our time through what you know, or what you're not being told in regards to this particular model. Then we can make the best choice and feel respected for choosing to spend our money at OCUK.

I'm willing to be patient but I'm not going to be happy if this situation with this model is going to continue to be ignored. I'm not demanding a card, I just want to know why the card has been removed from pre-order and if that I'm wasting my time.

Yep and comparing it to the new consoles which are actually preorders and not even out yet! Completely different situation.

AIB's can give regular updates of when they ship out batches to people like me, you really mean to tell me that you believe OCUK aren't privvy to more information than that ??
Whether directly from manufacturer, distributor, or even shipping providers ??
I don't think so

They do not get boards from AIB's though, they deal with some Distributor they have obviously mugged off otherwise they would get more just like their competitors some of whom do get supply straight from AIB's.

It's odd as my experience with the PS5 pre-order has been the complete opposite to my one with the 3080, The day that the pricing of the PS5 was announced I went to a well known console selling website site and registered my interest via a 1p token amount, within a couple of days I had an email from them guaranteeing ill have an allocation and receive it on launch day, a simple click to confirm the pre-order(and even after guaranteeing an allocation and confirming the pre-order they are happy to take my money for the console latest 31st October) and looks like ill get my PS5 on launch day. I had a few pals who also registered their interest and had emails telling them they would not be able to get in on the initial allocation(again having spent 1p and no more), they were obviously disappointed but it left them free to pursue buying from another site or otherwise to wait for a second batch.

Now if the website I ordered my PS5 from is able to accurately gauge their allocation of consoles a couple of months out from release date, how is it OCUK(a retailer id say is on par with this other website in terms of size) can't even gauge or get an idea of stock coming their way over the coming weeks/months?
