oh, did they remove the code from new orders? i remember people talking about it like they were way back in queues and still were promised it on their order. im still 122 out on the gigabyte gaming oc queue and it shows up on my order, id be suprised if i get one lol

A wonderful shopping experience, with a confirmation e-mail for every stage of the purchase, live tracking of the delivery, and less than 24 hours in total, door to door.
Pay attention OCUK, this is how it should be done. If you lack the clout, don't attempt to punch above your weight. Many things are nVidias fault, but you are not blameless here.

There is a small amount arriving next week (teens) with a larger amount due to arrive the week after. The amounts are now being increased but it's still slow progress, I'm unsure if the OCUK queue system includes PC back orders for these cards. You'd need to check with them to be sure.
all of that and ZERO mention of GIGABYTE EAGLE OC 3080... :-\ really loosing hope and faith now!
You get the code when your card ships afaik.It would be interesting to see if anyone who pre-ordered then cancelled got a code...Not that we don't have enough to b!tch and complain about as it is X-)

Don't think so, as codes are given by email when the card is shipped to the customer, not before.It would be interesting to see if anyone who pre-ordered then cancelled got a code...Not that we don't have enough to b!tch and complain about as it is X-)

I see the other big UK retailer got a delivery of Asus 3080's today, no idea how many tho....
3080 X2 is 20pc
3090 is 10pc
With our forwarders and should be with customs end of this week, if it clears fast will be with us next week. The rest of the 3080 X3/X4 should be collected late next week from HK.
Good stance to take, you don't agree with their practices which you have voiced and will take your business elsewhere all while being cordial. Exactly what the other person should have done. Personally I don't think todays announcement really changed anything, all it really did was confirmed what was already assumed anyway. Don't get me wrong I was happy just to have the additional communication, especially taking the time to respond to people in the forum was a nice addition. But it hasn't really changed the situation at all, yourself and others seem to have the notion that anyone is thinking everything is now magically resolved but I've not really seen evidence of that anywhere so I'm not sure where it came from.Just because someone doesn't agree with how a company goes about its business does not make them entitled. Though I agree, continuously banging on about it shouting into the void doesn't really achieve anything. Being shirty with anyone below management is also pretty lame. People should take their business elsewhere, or... rightfully, add their opinion to the hat and then get in line and just wait for things to iron out.
I do, however, agree with the sentiment that the update posts today were long overdue and do not magically make everything better. These things should have been communicated earlier, rather than waiting until they absolutely had to address it all. As I said elsewhere in this thread, the damage has already been done in my mind and I doubt I can have my mind changed at this point so I'll be buying elsewhere in the future. That may make me unreasonable, sure, but I'm only one person.
