*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

@OmniSnr taken from another thread gibbo has answered Gibbo said this

"Because I have no idea, that is my answer unfortunately. 10 were for retail, 10 were booked in for retail and 10 shipped out for retail, that is all I can see, 10 in, 10 out, I cannot see the finer specifics and thus cannot really answer your question, sorry I cannot be of any real help."

Thanks, i did miss that, but its still incredibly unhelpful. If they have that little control of stock then the queue number becomes irrelevant or at least unreliable ( not shooting the messenger btw ).

@GIGA-Man any indication of what is actually happening with respect to the eagles? We keep being told about constant 2 week delays one after another, with OCUK having gotten basically 0 eagles since launch day. I was hoping I wouldn't be in too bad of a position to get this card, but this wait with constant carrots on sticks is making me seriously question whether I will ever go Gigabyte (and OCUK) again. I appreciate the difficult position you are in, and I very much appreciate the fact you are being responsive on the forum, but consumers are feeling lied to constantly because of the stock that is supposedly coming into the UK/IE region but never being seen. I know there is still a week to go until the most recent "2 week delay" is due to be over, and we get any sort of indication on if the shipment arriving into the region as a whole will be more than the small amounts that arrived before launch day? We need to have some indication that these delays at least have some upshot to them

Hey Danny,

There is a small amount arriving next week (teens) with a larger amount due to arrive the week after. The amounts are now being increased but it's still slow progress, I'm unsure if the OCUK queue system includes PC back orders for these cards. You'd need to check with them to be sure.

Thanks for the update. 31 here, so close yet so far.

they dont expect to get any more codes in so i was told by support so only the people who have a code on there order will get one
oh, did they remove the code from new orders? i remember people talking about it like they were way back in queues and still were promised it on their order. im still 122 out on the gigabyte gaming oc queue and it shows up on my order, id be suprised if i get one lol

mate problem is promo expires on 31 october if ya dont get card by then well thats that

interestingly the order says it includes the game ( although no code ) so it would be interesting to see the legal stance of this. I would assume as it says it is £0 they could just refund the elements of the order they can’t fulfil ( i.e. £0 ).

It is my grandma's dying wish that she sees me play some games on my 3080, is there anything that can be done to move me up the queue?

I’ve got a couple of 1080’s I can sell you. You could always tipex over the 1 with a 3 and run minecraft. I’m sure granny could then pop her cloggs felling truly fulfilled with her life. Of course the deception would eat you up for years and you’d probably end up having to explain it to her, face to face, sooner than you would have liked.
