*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

ASUS TUF
Ordered 18th, 20:59

Queue position 1047.

Kinda what I expected, and about half the unofficial queue number. Hoping for 1-2 large shipments in near(ish) future, maybe some cancellations from others, and looking towards November. Might be optimistic but w/e.

I ordered the TUF on the 26th 21:34, and I am queue position: 1746. Feel like I'll be getting mine next year.

Thank you for your pre-order for the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio 10GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card. You are currently in queue position 210.
Order was at 15:15 on 17th Sept.

I think this is alright, not ideal, but could be a lot worse. If they get a shipment of 30 a week then I am waiting 7 weeks.

MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio 10GB GDDR6X PCI-Express

Ordered:15.12 -17/09/2020
You are currently in queue position 188.

Not too unhappy with that, was half expecting a zero on the end of that number. I only checked the other thread intermittently, any idea how many OC are getting a week?

Guys, some of you aren't understanding the queue position. Being 20 and not having received a card doesn't mean that OCUK haven't gotten any of that card. It means that after sending out whatever they have sent out, your position THIS WEEK is 20. I think. I'm assuming they wouldn't include people in the queue if they already shipped them cards
Correct.

Also, I saw someone ask if that means they're position 20 as they'll be getting in 50 next week? lolno.

Your position relates to the number of people still waiting to receive a card. Next week it's going to go down, depending how much it drops will give you an idea what they've shipped / cancelled etc.

MSI Ventus
Ordered: 15:18
Position: ~170
Estimated Position: ~290

Seems to be in line with other Ventus orders (aside from one at 16:36), here they are so far:

14:46 #29
14:57 #38
15:07 #47
15:17 #164
15:18 #~170
15:19 #188
15:21 #218
15:23 #237
16:36 #160
21:16 #531

I don't understand why you all appear to be falling over yourselves to get a GPU which seems to be having major stability issues.

One can't help but think that OCUK has suffered quite a lot of reputational damage surrounding this launch, and rightly so considering how they've conducted themselves.

That’s mental, just goes to show how little the demand is for plait cards. I must read into them a bit more as I know other forum members have stated plait are one of the biggest manufacturers out there, they just don’t have a huge presence in the west.

My 2080Ti is Palit and honestly it wasn't my first choice but its been a solid card for 2 years. I would definitely have another.

Do you know if you'd also get warranty etc transferred? What if it is received in a broken state? I am obviously not opening the box or whatever and testing it before selling it on, would be unopened and untouched.
I would imagine so, if it was unopened surely it could be registered with gigabyte as a new product and all the warranty that entails.

There's been so few shipments so far that this may as well be as of day 1.
