Digital retailer ProShop indicated that AIBs have delivered fewer than 8 percent of the 8925 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 units it ordered, far too few to meet increasing customer demand. This reinforces speculation that Ampere supply shortages could continue for months to come.

They confirm later a figure of 621, a similar figure to OCUK, except so far as I can tell this is Germany. Article is short but it's worth a read.

I'm not sure why this would suggest stock shortages will continue for months to come, though. I mean they might, but this doesn't have a bearing on how supply is shaping up for the future.

Crossing my fingers now that the large delivery of MSI Gaming X Trio 3080s is close to 100, and enough people ahead of my 101 queue spot have cancelled that I get mine next week!

how do you figure that out when ive been 2nd in que.. i ordered on 17th via phone. and both email's have said Que Pos 2 :-\ to be thats zero movement

eagles stopped shipping to europe weeks ago. i think i seen a post from someone at gigabyte saying it would be atleast 2 weeks before more shipped, and to be fair that was atleast a week ago now

I think these delays have certainly made people think twice. Some because they feel they got caught in the hype and realise now they don't need a 3080 right now. Some because they now will wait to see what AMD offer. Others want to wait for the 20gb or 7nm 3080s.

Same here, this thread is full of people moaning about when they will receive their cards, but at least their cards are released and there are reviews. It'd be good if we had an idea when this card will be released let alone shipped.

I just saw the update saying there's an "OK" amount of zotac 3080's expected this week which equates to "approx 50 units"... I'm at position 50... Wish me luck!
