I wondered that too, I think we got ours at the same time. I went for next day delivery, but it still said estimated 20th November so I have legit no idea why I got it so soon

yeah it is a bit odd that they would give that estimation, if they clearly already had them in stock Anyway mine is super saver so I guess I have to wait a bit longer for mine.

I half jokingly suggested that OCUK are hoping the 'early birds' who got in at the lower price cancel, as I think they sold many more units at the lower price than they should have:

When RTX 3080 launched, a few card manufacturers supported us to keep a lower selling price on a limited number of orders. These quickly oversold and our pricing increased to reflect the true cost value of these products. We will of course honour the pricing on all the orders sold at the lower value.

I don't think I'm even half joking now. I don't think they want to 'honour' the pricing a lot of us got on the cards - I also think that stock is arriving, but not fulfilling those orders. We've even seen the Gigabyte rep say that OCUK would have had some of the Eagles (as all the competitors have). I may have been joking before, but something smells real bad here. I for one will not be cancelling my order.

I will be very happy to be proved wrong today.

Yeah, I'm certainly not cancelling my £650 card. There's so little to gain by paying any more than that. Most of the more expensive cards don't even have 2 x HDMI.

I ordered a 3070 but have received no emails after they confirmed the purchase but it should have been dispatched a few days ago so I don’t think I’m going to get one for a month. Anyway, does overclockers now have stock for 3080, specifically the 3080 TUF gaming. Their shop website is so outdated the description still says pre order September 17th so I have no clue what is going on. I want to cancel my 3070 and buy the 3080 if overclockers have it in stock

If you qualified for the code (only the first 1000 units sold) then you will only get it when the card ships to you. You actually need your card installed to use the code.
Others will correct me if I am wrong.

There's absolutely no stock of the 3080 tuf people have been waiting since the day it was realeased for theres me included
its a pre order for a place in the queue which im guessing is in the thousands by now you will get a email for your place in the queue on fridays

Sorry to say that this almost 1,000 page thread is full of people (like myself) complaining that we're still waiting for our 3080's that we ordered on the 17th of September.

They can't even fulfil the backorders, let alone get stock for new orders. I suggest staying with the 3070, at least the queue can't be as long as the 3080's. But you should manage your expectations, we've been waiting a month and a half with no news, no stock and no sign of our cards. I suspect 3070 queue members will be in the same boat - although I hope that you have better luck than us.
