Only just woke up, so let me get this straight;
This thread is for us to discuss stock. But we're not allowed to name competitors or even hint the names, so when discussing stock we can only say "big competitor", "generic electronics competitor", "huge seller of all things competitor" etc to say they've had stock that OCUK didn't get. Then on top of that, someone comes in with some additional info direct from OCUK, and it gets entirely removed?
What's this thread actually for? It seems like any genuine stock discussion beyond wild speculation and moaning about OCUK isn't actually allowed.

If that email is correct, doesn't it make there statements on there website false advertising?, saying "Luckily, Overclockers UK is one of the NVIDIA’s biggest partners which guarantees we will always be one of the very first companies to acquire stock in the UK."
Overclockers UK is the VantaBlack of customer service! Best in class at absorbing 99.965% of customer money, allowing only 0.035% of those pesky orders to escape fulfilled!opaque is being generous

I am actually and i see got screenshots. I'd not call over 1000 quid for 3080 card nothing else than scalpers selling or retailers scalping themeselfes.you're looking in the wrong place then- If you're in the telegram or discord groups you can look back and see what notifications were sent. Nothing lasts long but they keep popping up. This morning is no exception. A 3080 vision which is supposed to be the rarer card seems to be everywhere except here recently.
Prices are quite high if looking to buy from european etailers but the stock is moving there. Id still probably wait till something comes up in the uk which im sure it will before oc gets decent amounts.
The gigabyte cards (and many others thay dont appear to get delivered to ocuk) are available elsewhere. oc has to be doing something wrong to not get more stock. Heck their parent company "should" be hooking them up (maybe that was their hope?) but nobody seems to be sending oc much more than a small amount. Only a couple of times we've had ok amounts of things. It doesn't instill confidence going forward or for anybody daft enough to still consider oc for future purchases.

I pre-ordered because i need the card.
Problem they are lying about the shipments and look like only going for the money, and
they still take pre-orders for cards that will never come.
Look 3080s getting loaded to get delivered to OCUK. OCUK ok amount coming in... Small amount actually made it in 1 piece

my point is they are available in europe. price is irrelevant in the context we were talking. actualy there's only been one i'd consider a scalper and i think that ones still available. The other sold in minutes so i doubt they could be classed as scalpers price but thats probably a matter of opinion. £50 or even £100 to get a card and play it for months before others have a hint of getting something isn't a lot really.
At the rate i'm currently getting alerts for 30s elsewhere i'm going to be partially fluent in dutch, german, french and spanish in no time

Nothing. I’m 127th or less now in the queue. Gonna cancel within a few days I reckon and get a 6800xt from a competitor.
Always bought parts from ocuk but this is the last.
I know it isn’t their fault about the stock but the whole thing about them being able to secure the most stock was a lot of rubbish. The fact that they are still taking preorders for these models is a joke, especially with no warning on the page.
