Obviously the 3070 launch and the RDNA2 announcement have happened since then, so I expect lots of cancellations for 3080 cards, but with OCUK having only shipped 559 cards (as of the 26th Oct) they stand to loose a lot of money they are currently sat on if people realise what is going on and start cancelling in droves. Exactly what I'm doing friend, I didn't even look on OCUK for Launch of 3070, CBA with waiting 2 weeks to find out what position I am in.

What was wrong with posting the email out of interest? It didn't say confidential anywhere.

EDIT: Just saw the post below. Hey, the mods here are in charge and whilst I might not agree with their decision, it's their forum to maintain how they see fit I guess :)

Recieved my Ventus 3X OC this morning from a competitor, not bad considering it was ordered via the competitor website and then sent from California 5 days ago! Having checked it does look like MSI have got themselves together the quickest of the bunch though so hopefully a lot of MSI purchasers with their cards in the not too distant future.

Shows how long honestly lasts at OCUK, quickly covered up so people can't see the truth. A bit like the stock situation - how are we meant to trust these people?

it named a staff member was the reason given. we havn't been told if it can be reposted with names removed or not though. I suspect it was removed for other reasons. Probably that it offered some transparency which is totally against OC policies... apparently :p :D

Hi folks i got a few questions. Anyone know how big the msi trio queue is? They seem to be getiing decent numbers, i see a competitor has also had a big delivery. Is it possible queue swap still? Are we allowed to have 2 3080 preorders or will one get cancelled? Cheers ta

id agree. there was nothing in that email that could be considered private. Nothing that the rep wouldn't have said to anybody else. They offered gibbos name which isn't great but thats easily removed.
Looks like somebody saw it coming and put it where oc couldn't silence it. tbh it just looks bad when companies so blatently cover things up.
