No surprise, it is pretty antagonising to us. We have had pre build customers who ordered mid October, get an asus tuf a week ago, despite thousands being in the queue in front of him. Retail cards being allocated to prebuilds as a priority. No way to dress it up, it stinks.
I ordered an hour after launch, still 125 in the queue for an eagle and we see that! A pig with lipstick on is still porcine, this situation is beyond untenable. OC have treated customers appallingly and you will continue to do so.

They did come out and say this wasnt the case but the reality was if they had hindsight to make sure this wasnt an eventuality then none of us would be screwed, there is a massive ammount of bull**** here from Ocuk and I agree there is no way they manage to get stock for new builds three months after my bloody order

I can understand the frustration and accept that there's always going to be conspiracy theories but...
That's just not true, read my first reply today for full explanation.
As for your own specific situation, check my systems, I've not got the Eagle in any of them so I there's a fair chance that there isn't a single OcUK system with a 3080 fitted.
The Eagle is not part of my SI allocation portfolio.

I heard they did really well with 3070 stock and supply though, you got lucky and they prepared so hopefully next week :)
yep i was lucky to be only around 150 in the queue at launch of the 3070 and theres been pretty consistent changes in queue positions so im hoping i'll have it by next week since the only reason i got this card and built an entirely new pc in general was to play cyberpunk on launch. my ryzen 3 and gtx 1050ti wouldnt have done the job at all lmao

Im going to cry into my not playing Cyberpunk glass till feb
if i dont get my card by launch im just gonna block myself off from all social interaction until i get to play it myself. i also got assassins creed valhalla at launch for free from an AMD promotion with my CPU and its been a struggle having it installed on my SSD and not being able to play it

auto reply to every post in this thread with "Too much demand, not enough supply". Nvidia got some ramping to do and we have waiting to do. Unless you wanna get an AMD.. oh wait, same issues.

I agree its not too dissimilar but im not seeing loads of these online for sale and I just dont understand how this is just not being properly addressed and these cars are popping up in stores etc when everyone is still waiting for a pre-order? and what happened all of a sudden did they just stop making cards for a week when everything thats been pushed is they are ramping up production? I just find it disconcerting and an absolute pee take

I started panicking that I did not get queue update email. Than I realized that I got card from competitors and cancelled my order with OCUK. This is what 2 months of waiting and checking update emails every Friday do to you. So happy that I already have my Palit RTX. Stay strong everyone. I applaud you for your patience and trust in OCUK.

Queue position status for my Aorus 3080 Xtreme...... At this rate i would say June - July 2021 mainly because 90% of the queue movement has been from cancellations. At least i still have my 2080.

04/12/2020 - queue position 83
27/11/2020 - queue position 86
20/11/2020 - queue position 101
13/11/2020 - queue position 105
06/11/2020 - queue position 120
30/10/2020 - queue position 127
23/10/2020 - queue position 136
14/10/2020 - queue position 142
02/10/2020 - queue position 151

Hardly fair on people who didn't back the wrong horse.

Well another Friday email and I’m up to #492 in the queue after multiple cancellations no doubt!

So I paid on the 24th September and more than two months on have moved up from #754.

I love OcUK and have been a customer since 2013 but the lack of transparency in regards to competitors is really starting to hurt.

Another competitor has only 119 pre-orders left to fulfil on the Strix 3080 OC, it’s time to jump ship I think and just cancel.

I’m starting to think that OcUK isn’t prepared to pay the extra costs of air freight and therefore isn’t receiving many cards at all. As part of Caseking you’d think that they’d be able to secure supplies?
