*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

So I am using this card in my Coolmaster NR200 itx case. It was initially really hot and loud under load, hitting 85 C. Then I tried deshrouding the card and got much better results. Now it's usually running at 70 C max and 1920Mhz under load. The power limit for this card is only 350 watts so pretty much gives it no headroom for overclocking. Even the reference card has a limit of 400 watts. No way this card can be charged as high as asus strix.

Undervolt it, then you have a lot more headroom for overclocking/higher clocks as temp will decrease drastically. My Strix OC normally wants 1+ volts for 1950mhz, i run it at 935mv, lowered temps by 6-8 degrees and also dropped the watts right down (by about 30-40 watts).

Every retailer, throughout the world, is in the same position as OCUK. All will have a huge amount of orders they can't fulfil and angry customers asking where their orders are. Now Radeon are releasing their new card. You have to know, Nvidia are feeling the heat from this mess they created for themselves

It’s now November and there still isn’t updates every day on stock, how bad is this. Absolute **** show by Nvidia. Now for the 2 day in a row, after more than a month since “release”, no updates. Joke tbh

sorry, rant over

Was there a shipment last week? If not it might fit the pattern of a delivery every other week.

That might be ok with me if the shipments were 50-100 cards but there not, there more like 15-30 if were lucky. I feel stuck in the mud, ive waited for this card since last year, on release day there was a problem with my card so had to ring the bank, took me a hr to sort out so I started at about 240 in the queue. Ive had a index since release n have hardly used it cus my 1080 is not up to it. Ive got 2000 games of which 200 are on hold waiting for this card. If I cancelled I wouldnt see the money for how long? 10 days, then who knows if there will be stock. This is not a gd situation to be in and I hold both retailers and Nvidia responsible, a refund should be done instantly in this situation (not sure thats possible) but it really is a sticky situation and one I for one am not happy about. I guess theres no point getting angry I just need to forget about it. On a better note ordered a Taturus yesterday and it arrived next day, obviously from somewhereelse because I bet OCUK wouldve plumped it with my other order so I wouldnt see it for a year lol, jk I think they was out of stock
