*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Gaza he ain’t even joking...
It’s “that” guy again that hates the English and insulted most and offended at least half the members of this thread.
No one is waiting for them cards you plum...that’s why they are for sale it’s not the SAME card...so go to your lawyer I just hope he can understands your “Simplz ENgriSH” but I can tell you now with my seconds of legal education.
You don’t have a case.
Actually please get a refund for your card to hire a SOLICITOR (we are in UK after all).
Now whose being offensive

Urgh....I don't want a Ventus 3090, I want an Aorus Xtreme or an FTW3...both of which I ordered within five minutes of the cards going on sale. But I also want to stop wasting my life checking websites for graphics cards. Maybe it's worth the premium just to get my life back :(

Tbh I jumped on a ventus yesterday evening when they were 10+ in stock just so I can get this wait over with. But I wanted a trio because they're really quiet. From reviews I've seen, the ventus can run hot and isn't that quiet. Regretting it now, especially for the price overclockers are charging for it so might call up this morning and cancel.

Yeah, I feel you man. I keep coming back to the fact that dropping nearly £2k on a graphics card comes with expectations of having 'the best', and I know every time I see a 0.1% low below that of someone else's benchmark I'll sit there regretting my impatience.

I'm gaming at 1080p ultrawide as well. It will genuinely make no difference for a long time (or until I upgrade my monitor). I blame Jensen and his huge collection of spatulas...

Buy ventus, scalp it on ebay, use the money from the scalp to buy the card you want from a scalper, easy

Funny thing is, there is still 9 in stock at overclockers since yesterday evening. So at these prices they're still not selling out fast, so doubt you'd get much more on ebay.

The lower tier cards REALLY are not worth it If your just gaming. The performance difference between a high end 3080 and one on these rip off 3090s is about 3% at 2k according to techpowerup. At least the high end to high end is still 10%!

...like the dude who incrementally swapped a paperclip for a house? Nah...I can't get down with feeding the nefarious scalpers. Also, to COD400's point, I think the market for GPU scalping stands on really unstable ground. I'm hoping that once supply normalises relative to demand the bottom falls out of the market. I take comfort in the idea of a scalper sitting on a pile of 3090s that suddenly reprice towards the MSRP of the 3080...

It's interesting that a hundred quid on a card in stock seems more important for a business than good will as going by just this thread there are some new customers who claim they won't come back.

Smaller retailers have been receiving regular stock of cards over the last 2 weeks and have been selling for less than OCUK. As they are smaller, you would expect their buying power to be lesser, they sell less cards generally and so would be more expensive. Not the case. This is something OCUK have been getting worse at for some time now though and it's just expected at this point.

The whole pre-order thing feels like a farce now as well. I can understand it if it is short-term as a buyer (the benefit is obvious to the seller of course) but the smaller retailers seem to be doing just fine only putting the cards up when they get them until they sell out.

At this point someone needs to come out and be honest. It's not acceptable for either OCUK or the manufacturers to leave people with these long pre orders. This is irrespective of the fact that you can just get a refund. What's the point when you want the card and have waited this long.

Maybe supporting the smaller retailers is the way forward although I guess it's like your favourite MMO, we hate some of the decisions that get made but still keep paying the sub, buying the expansions and moaning. :)

I'd guess it's something to do with the level of demand for each retailer relative to the amount of supply they're afforded. OCUK probably has a masive customer base/online retail footprint relative to the level of stock they've been given for the 3080/90, and the imbalance at OCUK is probably bigger than at the smaller retailers.

I'm still totally frustrated by how long I'm having to wait though...dont' get me wrong! Also, if it emerged that the queueing system was not being observed properly I imagine I'd not shop here again.

Ventus are now gone, seems they were snapped up pretty quick once people were awake

No updates from cancellations gibbo said himself it was on dispatch of cards and a blanket email Friday.
But that only lasted one week of getting 2 updates.

So how do we know where we are?
So they had 50 Asus Strix 3090 in last week. According to my number that went down that much.

Your not suppose to know lol.
I don’t think they have received any Strix OC this week. I therefore think we will get a queue update later today although it probably won’t show any movement except cancellations.
But just to give some info
First dispatch from OC was about 13? If I remember correctly.
Second dispatch from OC was two weeks after the first on the 28th of October. I think there was 28 cards in that dispatched batch.
Any queue movement above the numbers dispatched are cancellations.
I started at 88 next email said 72 last email was received on 28th October I was 41.
