*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Lamo, I had a glitch when ordering and my order went through twice so I now have two 3090 Asus Strix OC arriving Monday. Ooops.

LOL that's the sort of luck we have, you're like me I ended up with two 3090 cards too but one was meant for my brother, but of course he got one same time I did.. so I ended up with two. But I can send it back for a refund if no one wants it in the members market. Still have till 23rd November to send it back for a full refund they said when I called them today.

I'm happy you finally got one after the headaches we went threw with the silly msi trio at that lovely site that had imaginary stocks but when they called they had 100s but not one ever sent out.

amazing how competitors even have stock. Bin the best send the other back.

I think my Strix has been pasted badly.

under vaulting to 0.85 at 1920mhz is still climbing to the 70c region. I dont feel comfortable running mine at stock. Goes to 77 and sounds like a hair dryer. Will be glad to get a block and decent pads and paste on it.

Thinking about sending my 3090 FE back. It's got coil whine, but more of a buzz. It's not the worst I've heard but if I'm playing anything at night with volume turned down (I don't use headphones) it is noticeable. But don't know if I can be bothered with the hassle of trying to get another card... which in the end could end up with coil whine too, or even worse than the one I have now. Although from what i've read the Founder's Editions and Strix cards seem more likely to have coil whine.

It is a shame, the cooler on the 3090fe is really nice and is actually really quiet, just the buzzing sound ruins it.

3090s are widely available now, instock ready for next day dispatch, 3080 stocks aint far off

i think the 3090s are less popular because of the price and being only 10% behind a 3080 the justification isnt there

I see stock of palit, pny and kfa at oc now:).
Slowly but surely some card manufacturers are catching up.

Yeah but the prices keep going up. I saw an FTW3 3090 Ultra in stock at a reputable retailer yesterday for £2200.

Then last night i got an email from EVGA about their new flagship hydra copper FTW 3090 ultra for only £1,695 and the new hybrid FTW3 3090 for £1,645. That means the current ftw3 ultra and all the other EVGA cards should be less than £1,645.

It's clear that retailers have seen what the scalped cards go for and want a slice of that pie.
