I see overclockers have removed the pre order button changed to arriving soon so they must have maxed out the pre order allotment wonder how many people are on pre orders. I did not pre order as I did nto want to pay and have to wait until January to finally receiev one as the moeny would be out of my bank account too long I rememebr waiting last time for the 2080TI and ended up bagging a bargain. Maybe the same will happen this time round as I notice now scalpers are reducing pricing to near RRP. Although I notice pricing is rising now on these cards on line generally.
Bit worrying on the Strix front, as I've asked around Distribution this morning (exertis, Ingram etc)...all of them saying that Asus arent giving them a date on them and that they are in constraint....and some having placeholder dates on the ETAs of 2022 lol

Well the story I heard was the production of this card is being ramped up suppose by March 2021 it will be available everywhere and if as you say it is 2022 which I very much doubt. I think Asus would lose a lot of sales and punters would buy competitors cards. Patience my child all good things comes to those who wait.
no the 2022 is a placeholder im sure, as they dont have a date...they set one off in the far future, so people aren't expecting it anytime soon...until a firm date is confirmed.

I think it is to do with the fact so much of this stock meaning Asus Strix which is the most popular card as it is the card by which every other card is gauged it is juts down to popularity as this card will be the most popular and if bots were buying up whole inventories well you can see why there is not stock availability now as soon as stock comes available it is snapped right up you would have to wait until the scalpers move onto something else as no longer profit to be had as too many selling on auction sites at near RRP so the scalpers move onto something else and the bots change direction leaving stock for the joes to buy whenever they like just sit tight I assume by next year this will be different as I waited for the 2080TI and was able to purchase from late January two years ago even then they were still scarce so just have to keep scouring web site and you eventually hit lucky.
Now you all have no excuse to teach yourselves how to program a bot and next time round when a new graphics card comes to market you wont have to wait and you will be one of the first to eb able to purchase when they hit the e tailers

realistically though, how many pre orders are there for the strix 3090 in the UK? probably less than 2000?
It's not exactly a lot is it.....who was saying these ASUS factories can knock out 35k cards a week, we're 8 weeks in now and the queues have hardly been dented

Hi all, apologies for the slow responses, I've been on paternity leave so had to step away briefly. Sorry I couldn't provide updates in the meantime, but please know we have more stock on the way every week, and working to provide OCUK a few weeks notice to let them know whats incoming. Stocks improving, but still not enough to clear all the backorders unfortunately. Please know we're doing all we can and will hopefully have your card with you asap.I see the Asus rep has disappeared off the face of the earth, what a surprise

congratulations.Ok we getting somewhere, 301 in the queue for the 3090 strix oc, what's my chances of receiving it before Christmas holidays, even the week before I would be happy, knowing I have something for myself to play with over my time off.

SO do I. It was a good sign to see a UK shop selling the Gigabyte 3090s for £1420 today - the price they were always meant to be.
One Asus factory alone can make 30,000 cards PER day. But that assumes they get 30,000 chips from Nvidia and how ever many memory chips..................

Pity ASUS sold the strix on there EU website and got caught.
I have cancelled my 3090 Strix OC and grabbed another 3090 the next day.
I hear the baby was overdue by a couple of months?
