I moved 3 places in 7 days on the other siteYeah it does, was expecting some last week. Nothing so far. Hoping there’ll be something this week. Other site is same, not getting anything from ASUS

Unfortunately some are broken like mine , currently awaiting an RMA replacement on mine due to the buzzing fan issue some seem to suffer which apparently effects the 3070/3080/3090 strix models https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?121271-Strix-RTX-3090-Fan-vibration-issues
BUT issues aside once its fixed it should be a good cooler
Jesus, that would drive me nuts.
The Asus Strix cards look the best for sure, but I hope they sort out this issue as I'm planning on the Asus 3080ti when it launches in January
Is it only the crap cooler that limits the boost speed on the FE?3090 FE back in stock

Sorry, I meant compared to what could be achieved on custom loop Watercooling. FE only lists boost speed of 1700MHz vs 1890 for Strix OC. The latter has a 480 watt bios, presumably because of better cooling. On water it shouldn't thermal throttle. The cooler on the FE has been proven to be quite good
I was tempted, but only 350w power rating, so would need shunt mods to even try for good overclock. I'll do some research and see if any higher powered bioses are available for FE cards.Just grabbed a 3090 FE from you know who, going to cancel my strix oc 267 in the queue and no sign of it moving this side of Christmas, bye bye Asus for all the lies and clockers for a train crash of a launch for zero info on when we are likely to see our orders.
Indeed but I'm not waiting forever for Asus and this place to sort their problems out, totally lost faith in the way they have handled the launch with lie after lie.I was tempted, but only 350w power rating, so would need shunt mods to even try for good overclock. Agreed. There's something fishy going on with the Asus Strix cards with neither Asus or OC telling us what is actually happening. I personally don't care if the fans have an issue. It'll go straight onto water after initial soak test.Indeed but I'm not waiting forever for Asus and this place to sort their problems out, totally lost faith in the way they have handled the launch with lie after lie.

The stupid power cable placement and proprietary connector puts me off. Otherwise, I’d jump.

Got one now thanks.3090 FE back in stock
Awesome thanks cause I just cancelled my strix and got FE due for delivery next week YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE \o/The asus strix has a weaker VRM than the standard Fe models, only thing the strix does is offer a higher power above 400w the Fe offers, 480w but if you look the VRM is weaker than the Fe. Only card to date that offers stronger VRM than the Fe with more phases is the palit Gamerock 3090 oc
