*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Yes but I draw the line at cutting £1500 GPUs!

I cut a bit of the PCI bracket in my current case so I could fit my 2080Ti in the slots I wanted, but I wouldn’t cut a card as resale value would be toast.

If I recall a fair few years back, GPU's used to come with different size PCI brackets so if you watercooled etc you could change the bracket size. Same as some cases had mini PCI slots etc.

I guess it's no longer a thing.

Vertical mount is the only way I'm gonna get clearance over the AIO radiator in my case. I just hope my PCIe extrnsion cable is up to the task. It's a Corsair one that works fine with my temporary 2060. Fingers crossed. Huge cards, eh? Looks like they're here to stay.

I seriously doubt there are large shipments in ships about to dock. Everything nvidia makes its air freights asap.
