Yep. Exactly this (I'm a web developer for Magento sites).
 
Some euro retailers had stock but I’m guessing OC didn’t. This is depressing...might take a couple of weeks off constantly checking this forum which will be better for my sanity lol

Just because they haven't shouted from the rooftops about it doesn't mean they didn't get any. Is what I'm gonna keep telling myself

Some Swedish store just posted to facebook a pallet of I believe about 30ish (make that 42. Didn't see it was stacked three high not two) Strix 3080s, so I don't see one of the UK's biggest vendors not getting any of the 3090s unless nobody is

A store in Germany supposedly got 370 cards delivered to them. Which if true is huge. But again, probably just 3080s

either way it seems its another day of zero communication other than a landing page with outdated info.

This, to me, says queue positions are changing today, and that means one thing:

That's what I think too! It might depend on what they got delivered though, they might not have received every model of card, so not every queue might move.

The optimistic side of me wants to agree with you.

The pessimistic side of me disagrees and thinks that they just repeated about the queue update emails from a previous forum post (because nowhere else on the update page does it mention the emailing of queues even though it was said before the 5th)

So I doubt any 3090's are shipping today at all.
