*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Took 90 minutes on the phone to cancel my 3090.:( Really wish i didn't have to, but the customs duty from jan 1 would have added hundreds to the cost. I was surprised that the guy on the phone had no clue about about any of it considering it's just 10 days to go. I'm really going to miss not be able to buy from overclockers as i've been using them for everything since they were in stoke on trent in the 90's. :( You can't even buy a decent gpu anywhere in Ireland.

You were surprised that an English person has no clue about how something would impact Ireland?

Bit late now i guess but in future you are welcome to ship to me in Belfast and then come and collect it

Er, wait? did you think this only applied to Ireland? it applies to every country on the planet after jan 1st for all UK companies.

Just very surprised that a UK company with so many international sales had no idea that they can no longer sell to Ireland or any other country without their customers having to pay between 20% to 50 % extra for customs,duty & import fees from jan 1st? Are you really telling me that you did not know that with only a week or so to go? It literally only effects UK sales and imports, every other country in the world stays the same as it was.

Honestly, i'm simply going to miss overclockers as i've bought everything from them for over 25 years. Irish pc shops suck.

DPD delivered strix 3090 oc at 7.25 this morning.The wife was not to happy at being woken up. Ahh well. Just got to get my last day at work done, then I can have a play. :-)

Look mate, We're in the business of taking back control and putting the Great back in Great Britain again here.

Why would we care about any of that nonsense?!??!

I'm in queue position 49 for the STRIX 3090 OC and I also didn't get a shipping notification. I called OCUK and they said the remaining stock will be shipped today. Got literally everything crossed for a shipping notification this afternoon
