This sorry saga has taught me one lesson and that is to read the forums before release date. I would have been in early double digit figures if I had pre-ordered early, but instead deliberated for in excess of an hour. For those that did it early, congrats. I'm unlikely to see mine before Christmas:

I don't doubt waiting has added a few numbers mate, but TBH I was hitting the checkout button at 13:58 and didn't get through till 14:09 with the payment backend messing up.

93 by that time. Luck of the draw in the opening 10mins IMO.
 
I had it added into the basket at about 1:57pm.
Order didn’t actually go through till 2:08pm.
I’m 88th according to email but like they have said above that was their old system to nothing set in concrete.
 
Just ordered a new monitor from OC today so you would think they'd do the environmentally right thing and send me my 3090 TUF OC in the same shipment ;)

I had to reorder my LG 4K today as it was tied into my 3080 order and they would not ship till both were in stock, so pick a year I guess! - Put me to the back of the monitor queue again but at least I've learned my lesson for OC ordering - big ticket items do 1 at a time!
 
Could be worse... could be waiting for a 3080 variant... much higher demand and no doubt, at the quantities arriving, makes for much longer queue's
 
Yeah I did realise that till other day.
All my internal griping about my 3090 strix oc that I ordered on the 24th.
People are still waiting for the 3080’s from the 17th.
So I suppose we are the lucky ones in the grand scheme of things.
 
I've just been thinking of the interest on accumulated pre-orders. Eye watering sum of cash but not enough to start a bank.
 
Seems to be nothing but Asus coming in, and nothing other than that from the 3090 range has been coming in for overclockers when it's known other retailers have been getting multiple brands in.
What's up with that?
