*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3090 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Why, you hoping to jump the queue again
You really don’t like him posting do you ? Lol the fact you won’t let it go I’m just as annoyed but I gave up voicing it early on as OC won’t change it.
Im glad you won’t let it go to be honest I wish I had your staying power.
I think it’s disgusting OC did this.
But our opinions means nothing to them it won’t change the queue jumpers numbers.

Its cause he is one of the most vocal people asking about when he might get his card and stuff when he already jump FOUR whole days of the queue to get to where he is now.

If I was him I would have kept my head down out of embarrassment and just count myself lucky that OCUK allowed him to swap from a 3080 to a 3090 and hold his position in the queue. He clearly doesnt give a toss about all those people he jumped ahead of on here.

Next time at 4000 series launch I am going to order a ocuk mug at 2pm and then ring up later and get it changed to a 4090 Strix OC card. :p

Do we know what's the deal with the warranty? Usually it starts from the payment date, but what about in this case? People might loose months worth of warranty.

Can’t mention warranty but I ordered the extra insurance from the OC website along with my GPU (may have been a pointless expense).
Anyway received my insurance certificate immediately so it started on 24th of September I then contacted the insurance company and explained that I hadn’t yet received the card.
They told me to send them a copy of the dispatch note from OC in when it did arrive and they would send me a new certificate with a updated date.

The people who answered your email are customer service advisors, possibly outsourced to a completely different location. It's their job to answer your questions and to help you. You aren't getting the info you want because they're being lazy and they can't be bothered asking someone else. Are you going to let them off that easily?

It took me about 4-5 emails going tit-for-tat to get the response I wanted from them.

When I emailed Galax they first fobbed me off with checking facebook for dates. I replied that facebook states that is was released on the 24th. They then tried to fob me off by sending me a link to their store, which was basically a list of stores in the UK who stock their cards.

My final email before they gave me the information was :-

You wouldn't allow this over any other item. Imagine you purchased a car and the dealer states that you might get it next month or in 3 months, you'd walk away. Same with a TV or any other item.

If they don't give you the info that you want then the choice is yours if you want to be trod on by people who quickly take your money for goods and hold it indefinitely.

It was a slightly vague answer. I did ask them multiple times when the shipment of my card would arrive in the UK. I'm going to assume that's what they meant, language barrier and all.

If it doesn't show then EVGA have stated they'd have completed all their pre-orders by that point and will have regular stock.

Thank you for your reply wickfut. I do hope that KFA2 do come through and we get our cards, but the EVGA thing is certainly interesting. I really hope that EVGA can keep to that. Much appreciated!!!!!

Asus Availability update for North America and rog strix 3090 is not in production. Does not fill me with confidence I will get my 3090 rog strix anytime soon.

To clarify for anyone reading, the OC variant IS in active production.
It's only the non-OC that's not currently being produced
Did you even read the same post lol. Asus Tuf 3080 and 3090 OC + Non oc as well as rog strix 3080 OC being produced but not the rog strix 3090. Only applies to North America but does not look good for us. Link to Facebook post in case anyone wants to read it https://m.facebook.com/groups/ASUSP...ink&id=3453015311448198&anchor_composer=false

Why are the delivery dates so secretive? Do OC really not know when supplies should arrive?
Think how many people will cancel their pre orders once ocuk let everyone know they could be waiting until December for a card.

All that money paid back to the customer not gaining interest.

I honestly didn't even notice there was a "see more" button on the post. All I saw was the video which I chucked on in the background at work, which didn't specify either it just said Strix series and
"Update on ASUS RTX 3000 ( 10/12/2020 ) series availability. This is a confirmation that cards are in active production and being refreshed weekly with channel partners. This includes etailers and retailers.
Please be aware information is limited to ASUS North America
This includes the US and Canada. If you are interested in other regions' availability you will need to reach out to ASUS and respective channel partners in those regions"

Mockery was somewhat uneccessary
