They will run out of space for 8 pins soon.If Nvidia is pushing 600W I can't be having that, hopefully AMD will be lower TDP, might have to switch over to team black.
Yes for 3080 and 3090 the rest I ‘extrapolated’.Is this for real?

Navi 31 is rumoured to be an absolute rasterisation beast making the 3090 seem like a x70 card in performance which is why the 4000 series gpu flagships are rumoured to have 600W TDP. Nvidia will push their architecture to the absolute limit if they have to squeak out a halo card win over AMD at any cost.

Will a 12 pin do 600W?Its a 12 pin connector
The only part that is real is him talking out his ass
Will a 12 pin do 600W?
If 2x 3090 perf then probably looking experimenting at 8k in some games.
3090 was a tad too early to try and claim 8k gaming is here, 4090 will be where 8k 60fps becomes achievable without having to lower settings or only playing extremely well optimized games like doom eternal or forza
bit I don't care for 8k. I'm sticking to my 4k 120hz OLED screens, 3090 was also too early to do 4k 120fps but the 4090 should be much more capable

I am playing at 4K and while my 3080!Ti does smash everything I throw at it either 80 plus fps and around 60 with ray tracing, 100 plus fps without dlss would be nice. I am glad I got a 1000W PSU as it seems to be a minimum requirement for the 4090.Well, if AMD can match that leap in perf jump then win-win for consumer. Here's hoping you are right, but with today's prices and that perf jump you'll be north of £3k+ easily. And really you don't need more than a 3080/6800 to play resolutions lower than 4k, so unless you are 4k 120hz+ then you wouldn't bother with this card other than for epeen. Absolutely ridiculous how much of a power hog these newer GPU's are.I am playing at 4K and while my 3080!Ti does smash everything I throw at it either 80 plus fps and around 60 with ray tracing, 100 plus fps without dlss would be nice.
