nVidia GT300's Fermi architecture unveiled

whole report doesnt make me want to hold on too long to see its price/performance before giving in to the urge to get a 5870

Anandtech seem to believe that these cards will be out in q1/2010 so for anybody thinking about waiting it could be a long one but nothing concrete has been heard from nvidia yet.

You know what, I miss the days when GPU's were comparable by how fast they ran. Im completely lost with all this shader and core stuff. CUDA cluster?....lol

TBH it's looking like GPU's are now offering far more functionality than they used to. I totally agree - I didn't understand what nvidia were talking about, CUDA clusters in PC's eh?

£500+ i'm betting, and you've got to be nuts to buy a gpu for that price, especially with what you could get for that sort of cash.

i have sympathy for people that bought the asus MARS gpu...what a complete waste of money after looking at this

Could this just be the next 8800GTX
I orginally guessed at a price between £430 to £470, now I'm thinking a tad over £500
5870 fanboys arent a churpy this week as they where last lolz

I fail to see the point of your post? You are saying the Gt300 will be over £500 and this upsets £300 5870 owners how?
