Yeah I'm off work today anyway I want either the SC or peasant one as I managed to grab the full cover block from EK before they all went this morning
Isn't that quite risky considering you have no idea how they will OC, even under water? Also are the blocks compatible with custom pcbs? Otherwise you'll be stuck at 2-2.1 Ghz (power-limit).

EDIT: Apparently a single 8-pin PCI-E connector can deliver up to 396W of power. Requires custom-bios though (and not sure how the the board handles higher voltages as custom ones are designed with overclocking in mind).
EDIT2: One Pascal reached 2506Mhz: http://www.overclock.net/t/1600401/various-gtx-1080-reviews/3010#post_25198135

where can I get a 1080 for £540? link?
Gibbo was confident OCUk would have the best range of 1080's worldwide. I assume that means the AIB will go up at 14:00.
A none founders edition will be £540.

I made the mistake of ref last time. Looking forward to blocking the FTW edition certainly.
I would have gone with the ref would it have been 8+6pin. Nothing good will come trying to ram 200w+ down a 8pin or 75w pice lane.
Not to mention dual 8 pin, AIB design, proper phases, better/cleaner power delivery. Very likely cheaper aswell!
Jayz card was running over 100% on stock clocks. Doesn't bode well for overclocking.
I'll be running on air until blocks are released.
Sauce?
I'm on a very tight budget and I'm hoping the evga sc card which is based on the reference design will be around the 550 to 580 mark. The FTW would be nice but it's not gonna be cheap.
I just can't see these cards clocking to 2500 maybe 2300 but that's me being realistic
All these extra power connector are there mainly to power those beefy coolers and leds all over the place
