The main problem is blocks for me. Waiting 1-2months for blocks if they will even make them. hmmm.

I may just take my chances with a ref card. Should overclock well with a few bios tweaks as the main problem is voltage and not power draw.

Gamers nexus didnt hit 120% with their max OC at 2165mhz. Custom bios will allow slightly more voltage and more power draw.

hmm decisions...
 
I know it's been said in one form or another many times.

But I just can't my head round why anyone would buy FE, or any reference card for that matter when just around the corner are faster, cooler, quieter, better looking and potentially cheaper 1080 cards.
