** NVIDIA GTX 1080 FOUNDERS EDITION: WANNA PRE-ORDER?

The whole site has gone to crap, I am not even interested in the 1080 but now have to wait until the site gets back to normal. I do not think I will be able to buy some other product on the site before the 2 hour time limit for Sat delivery expires!

EDIT - all sorted! my purchase went through! phew

they got burned on the 980 release (payment system went down through PP), Got "new" servers and even if their are million users pressing F5 on a webpage this should not slow their site down if the servers are hosted Correctly on a cluster.

even though i will order from OCUK, ocuk need to invest in better equipment so when they want these World records they can do with no downtime & good experience for the user

some will say its only once launch. but their are many launch a year, paying more hurts the bottom line i agree, but its worth it if you get the custom you need on release days

secondly the forum & website should on seprate dedicated servers. the shop should have multiple servers & pipes.

True. They need to move and host on an elastic scaling solution AWS EC2 or the like. On demand web capacity for moments like these , then scale down afterwards.
