**NVIDIA GTX 480 IS BACK - TRULY INCREDIBLE PRE-ORDER DEAL!**

With my old i7 920 with the 480 GTX I managed to get 615w from the wall with Prime & Furmark running together.

In theory you would be ok as the link below shows the system pulled 668w whilst gaming, but with fur mark running 850w:

Nice deal though :)

Nope. Two 480s are 850W minimum, even that I'd call a tight squeeze..

kd

Rubbish, decent 750W is fine with a 920 D0 @ 4GHz. Ran mine for well over a year at that, never came close to maxing the PSU out. That 800W unit you have jonneymendoza will be fine.

Interesting. Thought 750W would be a bit close. Seen a few people say that even for an overclocked i7 and a pair of 470s it's be a bit too close for comfort on a 750w psu.

still fine tbh

How hard is it to find waterblocks for these things?

I already have one 480 and im thinking SLI will be better than upgrading to kepler.

Got my ASUS one running at 580 stock clocks with modded bios so it is cooler and quieter just like the 570 but with more VRAM :) TRUST ME GET THIS CARD!

Runs on stock cooling and never goes above 80c on loads which i think for a 480 is AS COLD AS ICE

hmmm you got me thinking... do you mind pointing me in the right direction with the modded bios, and is it easy to do it? cheers

Hmm, I'm ordering one of these today along with a bunch of other components. Does anyone know; if I order this (as it's on pre-order) will shipping for all my order be delayed until this card arrives, or will I be better off making two orders and paying for shipping twice?

Ideally need to order today, is all.

No your order should not be delayed and they will send the card out on its own once in stock.
