NVIDIA HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT - GPU PRICE CUTS AT OcUK!

Because many on here blamed Eth mining fir gpu shortages, when it was scalpers

Yes but my point is, why would everyone be waiting for the "flood" on ex mining cards when believe what you read on these forums. eth mining completely destroys the performance of the card. I know it's complete nonsense and you might get some performance lower than buying new (same as some kid gaming on their card 12 hours a day since release)

Mining affected global supply, we are in fact a part of the world. Now the extent to which they affected uk prices can be debated but it definitely had an effect. The fact people are using the lack of a "gpu flood" to justify their "opinions" (let's face it, no one here is an expert) is what I come to expect from certain people on here.

Oh bless you. Scalpers were to blame, and will be when 4000 series are in short supply. Mining was never the cause, the statistics on hiveos/ nicehash etc prove that; the bulk of gpu mining is on polaris or gtx 1660. But keep with the delusion that miners were the problem, im sure if you shout loud enough next year that miners are too blame the usual suspects will believe u

Definitely no experts on here that's for sure. But agree on the flip side of the statement "I come to expect from certain people on here". Lots of complainers, very little facts.

As said though, lets see how easy they are to order now the mining is out of the equation, perfect timing for the experiment wouldn't you agree? (even better since there is no 3080 for £650 this time and so far no sight of a 3070 so its only high end £900+ buyers for the time being).

So scalpers were to blame even though prices remained high for more than 2 years and despite a record number of GPU's being shipped, scalpers have been buying all the supply for over two years have they?

Not sure where you got "the bulk of gpu mining is on polaris or gtx 1660" claim from because unless we're looking at different statistics Hive OS shows 30 series GPU's makeup something like 41% whereas 1660's are sitting at 11% (I can't find Nicehash statistics, perhaps you'd care to provide them?)
