NVIDIA HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT - GPU PRICE CUTS AT OcUK!

Oh and 4090 upto 4x more powerful that 3090 in some things.

That's for upscaling, i.e. faking higher resolution than it's rendering at. Not actual performance.

It's too expensive to be worth the price. They'll sell some to wealthy enthusiasts, but it's death to the mass market. It's akin to £100K being the entry price for cars. Some people spend £100K or more on a car. But not many, regardless of the performance.

Once you factor in a the rest of a PC specced to match the graphics card, you're talking about a minimum of about £2K and that's at the midrange (which nvidia has clumsily relabelled as high end). £3K+ for the actual high end. For a toy. It's not a large market. Big margin, small scale.

I am sure he said 25% in his speech.
He did but having listened to it back it was as Twinz said, in relation to the shader reorder feature for RT.

What it is for pure rasterisation is still a bit of an unknown (guess work).

Can you say how many of these are left in stock?

Those do seem like a good deal if you think AMD are going to follow suit with looney pricing. The 3080 12GB hardly has much of a difference in performance to a 3089 Ti or 3090 anyway.

Yeah, asking for a friend who has a 1080ti and is considering an upgrade then skipping 4000 series and see what AMD and Nvidia 5000 series offers

Yes just under 200pc left and as of no surprise the sales in the last 24 hours have picked up to around 6-8 units per day and potentially increasing more, so you can do the math and expect them to not hang around long, of course as well once were down to our last 20-30 units we shall increase the price as I will be honest were making 5% which barely covers the overheads so the last handful we will increase price to slow run-rate.

As the saying goes if you think the price is fair and you need it, buy it, the world has changed to how it was three years ago.
