@GIGA-Man I'd like to know about the Vision 3070 as well if at all possible? OCUK were apparently expecting some this week, as per this post from Gibbo, but we've had no mention of them since and my queue position today is the same as last friday

Well in a week I only moved 1 on the queue, probably a cancellation.

Nvidia dropped a major turd with this launch. Will probably just cancel and wait for the 6800.

I think you will be quite high in the queue if you order a 5800x now.
I am 162 in the queue and I ordered at 14:45 roughly, hope this helps.

How big are the queues right now? My friend is looking to get one, but he's unsure whether to just hold off and try his chances on buying one when they come in stock or whether to just bite the bullet and queue up.

I advise caution on the 5800X its currently the disappointment of the 5000 series.

having seen Hilbert's review on Guru might well wait and go for 5900X extra 4 cores makes more sense to me for video editing. There is also talk on Videocardz of an incoming RTX3600TI, that will be in the 2080 Super performance region.

Que numbers are model specific, there's a similar number of order for the TUF non OC. I'm 97 in that que now, I've moved 24 places since the que system started and they've all been cancelations. I think the only stock they've had of this card is what they had on release day, around 30pc.
Really hoping things pick up in the next couple of weeks, I've got a month off work with the lock down, I want to get some GAMING! done.
I'm holding off playing a few titles at the moment because I want to experience them maxed out.

I assume stock levels will improve shortly, hopefully you won't have much longer to wait... I'm guessing mid January/February for myself.

It'll have been a year since I started building my computer so a fitting anniversary.

I can't do much gaming without a GPU but oddly on a 10900k (at low settings 720p) Flight Simulator is very playable and still looks great.
