** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Good evening all

I ordered the 3070 ventus 3x, thought it was a case of ordering it and being in a queue before i actually paid for it, but it seems i've actually purchased it but not been given a number in the queue and have no idea when it will come into stock and when it will be dispatched to myself, do i need to contact customer services as i did the order 4 days ago and all i have received is a confirmation email saying that my order has been received (also had an email saying my payment has gone through too) i did this via amazon pay for what it's worth.

Best contact the shop directly, on the main forum page at the top you've got the customer service sub forums :)

@Gibbo would NON OC ASUS TUF Customers be better cancelling order and just getting the OC version even if it means going to back of queue as i have not seen NON OC being posted by you only the OC versions. My position has been changing but i suspect thats because people have been cancelling?

I'm in the same que, you're right our position changes have been down to cancelations. I don't think they've had any stock since the 30 or so they had on release day. Gibbo did have an update from ASUS, apparently the GPU's ASUS have been receiving have been binning really well, so they used them on OC cards.
As consumers we're in the dark though (so are retailers by the looks of it) there's no way of knowing if the next batch of GPU's ASUS receive will be used for OC or non OC cards so it seems pointless to cancel and going to the back of the OC que. ASUS did make clear in said update, they are still making non OC TUF cards.

Well, Asus as a manufacturer should take some of these GPUs and use them for the non-OC version. OCUK as their partner/customer should insist and pressure them to cut a share of the total GPUs for the non OC card. It is clear that the non OC orders are more than the OC ones and yet they are only producing the OC versions. This is very frustrating. Every other card and model is supplied but this one...

I share your frustration, I've been checking these forums everyday since release for updates and it's getting boring. This is of course very much a 1st world problem but it's a problem non the less.
It's very frustrating to see other cards being delivered fairly regularly all be it in small quantities, it must still be nice to see your que number actually go down for reasons other than cancelations so you have a rough idea when you'll get your card... We're approaching 2 months without a single delivery, it's a pith take from Nvidia more than anyone, they should have held off for at least a month if not 2. They were too concerned about getting out ahead of AMD, in doing so they've **** on consumers from a great height.

@Gibbo - are you receiving any NON OC ASUS TUFs at all? I got the impression you were getting small amounts from Asus, but I haven't seen it in your posts for the past weeks.

He (Gibbo) posted this

Sorry, Should have mentioned in my post. It was related to 3080 deliveries

These were the posts I was referring to from Gibbo in case you missed them:

Asus none OC cards.
I finally got an official answer from Asus, none OC cards are not discontinued and still very much part of the range, however as cards are hitting OC levels they are prioritising their manufacturing on OC parts at the moment and as they get more GPUs from NVIDIA they will then also product none OC cards, not the best news as it means their focus is OC models but the none OC models will come.

All partners saying same, nowhere near enough GPU's are coming from NVIDIA, however NVIDIA have informed me the numbers are ramping up so November should see things improve but this worldwide shortage will no doubt continue into early 2021.

Seems people twist my words Asus are producing all cards but in the update they gave me yesterday is most the GPUs they are receiving from NVIDIA are binning well and as such more OC cards are being produced since launch and at the moment and I said things can change they could next month get a batch of GPU which don’t hit OC levels and this production of none OC would then ramp up but simple fact is no one knows the future.

Asus send us setups and request we put online and so we do and until yesterday no one from Asus had communicated anything I JD to ask them and finally got the answer that at the moment most of the GPUs they get go to OC models due to better than expected binning and as such OC models are shipping in greater numbers and in fairness OC models have sold in greater numbers too but at same time small amounts of none OC are shipping.

That is far different than saying not producing at all! I said prioritising! Not stopping!

To clarify to date we have shipped 37pc of none OC TUF 3080 from Asus and 44pc of the OC version and incoming deliveries are expected to favour OC version more but none OC will also be shipping but in less volumes. The numbers are just very poor and I guess if Asus get 100,000 GPU's for the world by the time it has been shared out amongst all countries, then divided up between all resellers and SI's the numbers are resulting very small, NVIDIA say numbers are ramping up and right now all we can do is cross our fingers and pray as its simply out of our control.

This was 2 weeks ago. There may have been 1 OC delivery since then but I'm not sure. It sucks...
