The Story goes (emphasis on Story) the prices weren't final and subject to change, so one has to wonder why bother slapping prices on them in the first place...It would avoid people getting ****** off at the prices rising at the very least. At the end of the day it's just another typical GPU launch with prices being set on a whim with excuses aplenty to trot out as to why the prices have magically risen.

There have been no price rises until after you can hit 'buy' or at least place a pre-order.

Up to that point there are just estimates and predictions...

Personally I wouldn't have published them but I guess if they hadn't this thread would be full of people complaining that there were no clues on the prices.

I'll be going for an FE, if I don't get one I'll wait and see what impact the new AMD cards have...
