Really torn on getting a new card. Digital Foundry make a good case for me updating my 1080.

Common sense says wait for Navi and what this brings but I'm more drawn to getting an Xbox Series X or PS5 as I mostly game on consoles nowadays. Saying all that, Cyberpunk has been pre-ordered on PC and a GTX 3080 will run this game amazingly.

Decisions.......it may be taken out of my hands anyway because the card pre-order event tomorrow is gonna be a slugfest. Supply may be limited initially but you'd imagine Nvidia would want to fulfill market demand asap given new consoles and AMD might be able to compete and force a bit of competition.
