** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

I'm finding the crippling lust and hopeless despair in this thread far more entertaining than the games I'm going to play on the thing.

Talk about a FOMO frenzy... :p

I'm having to be disciplined - gaming at 1440p and mostly playing older games I don't really need the 3080 unless something newer comes out and grabs me - however I do a bit of development stuff with RT so having something faster than a GTX1070 is a huge bonus there.

I do get the feeling though the prices are going to trend upwards for awhile so in that respect tempted to buy sooner rather than later.

Guys tommorow i ordering GIGABYTE EAGLE OC rtx 3080 , will be fine?

PSU my is Seasonic TX-750W PRIME TITANIUM PLUS

I also think Seasonic are offering free cables for their psu customers, so try and take advantage of that too. Great service which I am annoyed about seeing I've got an EVGA psu and EVGA are charging something like $40 for their cable!

I sold the backup GTX 1080 for £215 last week....Shuffle up for a card I dont really need....:p

Its been so long though since I bought that 1080ti EOL :p

Isn't that free cable from Seasonic the 2 x 8 pin to 1 x 12 pin cable only needed for the Founders Edition? The Gigabye Eagle 3080 uses standard 2 x 8 pin cables?

Ah I see, you are probably correct. I was just reliving my EVGA anger due to milking their customers. Definitely going with Seasonic next time, super nice gesture!

I have a red/black CableMod Pro extension kit for my 2 x 8 pins and the 24 pin & 8 pin cables, so looks like i'll have to get a custom cable made for the 3rd 8 pin cable required for the Strix 3080

Even without reviews I expect the Gaming X to be a far better card than the entry level Gigabyte cards. The fans are significantly larger on the MSI card so will be able to spin slower for better sound and cooling performance.
Were does it say this ?
I know the Aorus cards have 2x115mm and 1x100mm, but as far as I can see the MSI look to be around the same as most others with 3x90-ish mm fans ?

Yea. Cablemod sell them 8 pin sleeved cables standalone, but ridic minimum spend means its a no go unless you buy more things

Welcome to nvidia shop. The first rule of nvidia shop is: you do not talk about nvidia shop. The second rule of nvidia shop is: you DO NOT talk about nvidia shop! Third rule of nvidia shop: if someone yells “2am”, goes F5, or lags out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two F5 to a fight. Fifth rule: one 3080 at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: the fights are have a keyboard. No shirt, , no consoles. Seventh rule: 3080 will go on as long as they instock. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at nvidia shop, you have to F5.”
