Most of the 2x8 pin AIB cards are coming in like 60mhz slower than the FE as they are power limited, so the FE is a tiny bit faster. AIB cards are quieter/cooler in most instances though
 
I preordered a card last night and paid using my Visa and the money has left my account. However I've received no payment confirmation from OC and the 'My Orders' of my account is totally empty. Should I be concerned?

:) I know the feeling, my checkout crashed 3 times and managed to process the payment about 16:30. I'm sure it will be clearer today. Anyway, I hope you'll get your card soon. After what most of us went through yesterday, I hope everyone will get their cards in short time.

Don’t lie to yourself, we all know you will buy a Ampere card. Short of prices going up a lot more or Jensen personally coming and giving you slap, you will buy! His marketing is too strong for your brain to resist! :p:D;)

Same here, I have been waiting since 4pm, I have a receipt from PayPal and a order number on the website, but no payment confirmation.. I think other have mentioned the same situation.

Any news on this please @Gibbo
 
If I don't order one the second it is released my life is over! :eek:

This is the weird behaviour we have to deal with now, due to trying to make a product seem more popular and compress in to a tiny window of opportunity. You would think they were selling oxygen tanks and you were stuck on the moon with no other way to breath, its pretty pathetic tbh.

I've got several projects that need new cards, the dates have been set realistically for completion way into November/December and some beyond that, stock will not be in free supply this year, so just pre-order and wait is your best hope if you are a home user/consumer.

Ah, how annoying. Sorry to hear. I might try calling up when the lines open just to check my preorder exists somewhere since my bank account is scarily empty right now after scrambling yesterday to secure a card.
 
Check your account page, is your order in there? Then relax, they've got your order. My order confirmation e-mail was delayed, got it during the night sometime. OCUK are having a bit of a mare with their systems..... The 3080 launch broke the store and the forums.

The bigger picture is some of us will have to wait 4-5 weeks until we get a 3080 , just think a moment about what you can do in 4 weeks In stead of playing pc games ! Its not the end of the world , Ill hold my hands up and say pc gaming as made me stupidly lazy , I sold my 1080ti last week so I have no Pc until I get my card so in the next few weeks I’m going to get out more and get myself in shape... there are more important things in life than just gaming 24/7 ... relax and enjoy life and be positive.

I never buy anything day of release anymore, wait for the feedback to come in and price to settle. Madness isn't it.

Nope, I've got nothing under My Orders but I've been charged anyway which is why I'm a bit antsy.
