** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Seems odd as well we have prices but we can't pre order now?

The price on the Asus strix oc and non oc has already jumped up by over £100 since their listing. As I said above if they allowed pre-orders now they would have to honour the price at time of preorder as they take payment immediately. There's no way they're gonna start taking preorders now as the prices usually find some way of moving upwards.

Nvidia set the release dates, and OcUK don't have the info you want at the moment. You'll have that information when you pre-order.

Thank you. So the answer is; there is no release date.

This then explains why they are not accepting pre-orders yet (as Gerard points out) so they are not bound by an agreed price. It would seem best to treat September 17th as the 'price release date'. This brings back my earlier concerns that prices are going to jump beyond what Nvidia advertised because of the seemingly high demand (albeit for FE edition and, in fairness, it was advertised as a 'starting from' price). Given this, plus the amble headroom until you reach the 3090 price, makes me wonder how far they might push the prices.

I get that but I still feel they should open them up.

Be nice if @Gibbo clarified why they can't?

You allow pre orders when priced are set and you have dates on physical stock none of this "pre-order release date" crap.

If Ocuk know these prices will go up as well it's wrong there listing prices so early.

Pre orders/product listing should happen when price is set and there is a physical date for actual stock

You know Nvidia will be cheapest place to buy from and they did not price gouge at launch like a lot of stores inc OCUK (though not the worse) or bump up the prices when later on stock was in short supply/out of stock due to demand (Nvidia store had them).

It's just place holder prices to display the model variants. If they didn't do it straight after release then everyone would be screeching for info.

This way, it gives us time to decide which card is best for our individual need/taste. The price will be what it is.

Well it isn't though a place holder price is usually something daft like 1p like shopto did for PS5 to get you in the que.

The prices are inline with what nvidea announced and some have already gone up...mostly Asus cause gotta have that Asus tax.

Well now you've been sufficiently informed to know which model you won't be buying. ;)

The point is that we have a date in the diary, 17th September straight from Nvidia. Nvidia are saying "Available from", whilst Ocuk are saying "Pre-order from". I don't consider 'available' and 'pre-order' to be synonymous, so I think it's reasonable to ask for clarification.

I get that delaying orders/pre-orders until the 17th allows the price to be set, that's clear and understood. What I don't understand is how Ocuk won't know when stock will be available from all AIB partners until a precise date (17th). Surely that is known by now. I'm not trying to be annoying or difficult here, but I still find it a bit odd. Maybe 16th is a cut-off date set by Nvidia for AIB partners to confirm who they're supplying to, such that Ocuk can't know (and therefore can't say for sure) what stock they might be getting until then.

Some will be in stock, some won't, they'll likely not know until closer to release, and they usually put a pic up showing some of the cards they have in stock.

They are estimates and can change. Another vendor is not putting prices up until a week before.

So basically take any price currently listed with a massive pinch of salt. I dont know why overclockers have done it, yes it does seem strange but thats the way they have decided to do business on this occasion.

You could also speculate that by having it as a preorder you allow people to order without having to provide the product. Ie. First round of shipments vs second round some time later.

You also have to account for hype vs reality impact. Yes these cards will sell well but how well in this climate. Everyone is obviously saying they are going to get one but on release day when your asked to fork out £700 some buyers will be thinking there may just be better ways to spend the money/account for a rainy day.

I just hope they can share some info asap. If cards aren't likely to be delivered til October that's fine, but I'd like to know that if Ocuk know that (or know something at least).

Everywhere is the same you cannot preorder until the 24th at 2pm the 3090.

Which gives them a few days to get it to you by 27th
However being a purchaser of 980 1080 1080ti on release day I can say there are always delays specially from certain aibs who get many orders due to there status. If you get your card by the 1st week of October ocuk and aibs have done very well

I had to wait 3 weeks for my 1080,ti

Amazes me it takes them so many weeks to give us the exact prices, surely they know the damn prices right now that they want for the cards as they are already going to be in mass production.
