** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Jeez.... I don't even have a preorder. Not sure if that's smart or not. I am starting to think I'll be waiting until 2021.
It's a nice feeling to know I'm on a list but then in a bit of the unknown as I don't know where in to them hundreds I am! I keep hearing that retailers are only getting small amounts in weekly, like 20ish a week.

Yea... if there are 500+ for the top cards (ASUS Tuf) and only 20-30 come in a week at most, it's still a long old wait. What a crazy situation.

Yeah doesn't seem to be much light at the end of the tunnel. I was hoping to maybe get my gpu delivered this month but it's not looking very promising. Especially when people who got orders in at roughly 14.03 still haven't received their cards

I sincerely hope that by the end of October/early November, Jensen won't have to worry about a demand problem and that AMD take advantage of it. This launch has been an absolute joke.
I hope this too.
AMD cards to come with a coupon for a free leather jacket too. Catch is there are never any in stock.
I’ll go back to AMD no worries if their products are great

I received my queue number yesterday for Zotac... It's on competitors site apparently I'm right in the middle of remaining 200 something preorders. Since Zotac is quiet that might be a very long wait. Asus seem to have a steady stream of deliveries I wouldn't get discouraged by high numbers.

Which is why all the fuss of people demanding to know where they were in a queue was absolutely pointless. Unless you have in depth knowledge of the supply chain ANY number in the queue is absolutely worthless. It tells you nothing about when you could expect your card.

It's not pointless at all, it provides some transparency on a process that has seen you part with a large sum of money for very little information in return.

If you have a known queue position, with regular updates to it, its far more preferable than being given an order number with no further details.

That's a very good point to be fair

Correct

I mean you can be no 10 in a queue of 20 with a small retailer but they only get 1-2 cards per week so you will be 2-5 weeks before you get your card.

Or your can be queue number 1000 out of 5000 with a massive retailer and they get 200-400 deliveries per week and you will still be 2-5 weeks for delivery.

Queue position is meaningless on its own.

But at least by having a queue position you can visually see the movement. Rather than sitting there and hearing that deliveries are coming in and going out and hearing nothing for weeks on end. With a queue position at least you have an idea if you could be expecting something in days rather than months.

It also helps with concerns that stock is being channeled in other directions
