Has there been any update on any 3070s since the first queue email or since Gibbo posted in the other thread on 30th? I'm 19th in the queue for OC Palit and haven't heard anything since then.

Should be fine! I bought the MSI RTX 2070 Super Ventus GP as a temporary card a few weeks ago and it was a cracking card, so I see no reason why the 3070 shouldn't be a good card too.

I've since bought a Palit RTX 3070, again a brand I wouldn't have previously considered but believing an Asus (my preferred brand) would be harder to buy I went with what was available. The Palit is fantastic so far, it's very quiet, runs cool, and overclocks well and has got me well up the Timespy benchmark ratings compared to other users with the same CPU.

not sure, but i think the queue update emails are once a week.
there's another thread with delivery updates pinned where Gibbo posts news about new stock for 30xx series

Cheers for that, I just checked and it was £40.00 cheaper than here as well, which is a nice bonus.
