Why would you consider that Asus with its renowned terrible RMA, 2 year LESS warranty, over the Zotac Trinity with a five year warranty, at the same price?
(Unless it won't fit in your case)
I was just about to say that. The Zotac offerings are the clear winners here.
No chance. Waste of money as far as I am concerned due to the such small gap in performance between it and the 3080. More than double the money for 20% extra performance? That’s mad, to me anyway.
In 2 years I will have sold this, added £50-100 on top and have a hopper gpu, probably a 4070 which will be better than a 3090.
Got to be mad buying old second hand tech at £499 when a brand new 3070 is cheaper though no?
there is white offerings for both 3080 and 3090 from kfa2 and galax who are as far as im aware the same brand just for different markets but the white cards look fantastic if you search kfa2 3080/3090 white you will come accross itThe EVGA ICX looks good too, the 3080 IMO. But I think Zotac will sway me. Unless a white card pops up!
If that was the case then why didn't you and most other here getting a 3090 have a Titan RTX that had 24GB VRAM?its got 24gb vram thats 14gb extra which will massively help with stability, this will make a difference especially with MS flight sim 2020

The GDDR6X is expensive and in short supply at the moment. Cards with 16GB and 20GB memory are more likely to be available next year.there has been talk of a 3080 with 20gb vram whether that is a 3080 super or ti tho that remains to be seen and lenovo leaked a 3070ti yesterday that had 16gb vram
It will help massively though mate..You honestly think MS made flight sim 2020 with cards with 24 gigs of ram in mind?
What others do is not a concern of mine. I get all the facts and make a decision that makes sense for me. I am sure a lot of people were going mad for the 20 series also, I never purchased it however.27 pages of comments and feedback on the 30 series cards, its seems the OCUK forum community wants it, needs it. Must have the precious.
Still waiting on your answer about VRAM. Why did you not buy a Titan RTX that had 24GB? Why is it suddenly such a big concern overnight?
Oh I get it, because a lot of other people see the 3090 as their precious now, but Titan RTX was not precious back then, 2080Ti was. Lol. Common man..
I know. He seems very confused. Based on his posting it seems he buys this stuff for bragging rights more than anything else. SLI is dead for god sakes. I get why Kaapstad does it, his favorite game is 3DMarkHe was talking about getting 2 3090's in sli, that well supported feature that hasn't been dead for years now. 0_o

Think about it. Until a few days ago, most people thought the 2080Ti was the dogs ******** right? The 3080 is at least 40% better, only difference being it has 1gb less VRAM. I am sure if someone asked 2080Ti owners, would you trade 1gb of your vram for 40% extra performance, people would have overwhelmingly said yes.
Suddenly anything less than 24GB is crap though right? Right...
They certainly didn't build it with more than 4 CPU cores in mindYou honestly think MS made flight sim 2020 with cards with 24 gigs of ram in mind?
