** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES NOW ONLINE AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (3090 / 3080 / 3070) **

Just need to see how hot/cool the 3080 runs before I make a decision as I may need to change my case for some better air flow first :)

Sorry if this has been asked before, but which (if any) of the 3080/3090 cards have a fully custom PCB instead of the reference design? I know Nvidia's own Founders Edition doesn't use the reference board.

Over a million views in a few days
That views count only proves the demand on them cards, I'm starting to think that only few of us within UK will get their cards on time...or at all anywhere around launch time this month.. Next month situation.
Some of the UK online sellers don't even have them listed at all

considering you cant order or preorder the cards and the prices aren't finalised what would be the point this early?

I don't feel too bad about splashing out on my 2080Ti. Bought for a smidge over 1000 and later got 250 back after one of the fans started to make a bit of noise, which now seems to have gone away. I've had 100's of hours of use out of it in VR simracing and flight sims.

I've convinced myself it's been worthwhile anyway!

Will be keeping a close eye on RTX3000 reviews/benchmarks, user experience, AMD RDNA2 and what spec/when a 3080 super/Ti might come along.

VR simracing and MSFS2020 have made me crave the best that is available but will be trying not to spend over the odds or bite too soon...

I paid £649 for my Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1080ti, I think it would be wise to try and get a 3080 around the same price or spot on.

Wish it was the 14th already, so eager for the FE benchmarks.

@Gibbo, in your first message in here it says that PRE ORDERS placing will launch at 2pm 17th Septemebr, once this is online will we be able to see how long it would take to receive the item? Or if they are in stock?I'd rather not place the order for the card and then wait weeks for it's arrival..
As far as I know when you haven't got the stock next to the item there should be an eta for delivery coming to you.
How this is going to work this time?
Any information would be much appreciated as usually.
Cheers

So guys, is the 3090 going to be hobbled by my 9900k or will I be fine? Not sure I want to pay for a platform change until x670 and zen 3 if I can avoid it.

Jayz 2 cents made a comment that some people have talked about a different earlier date probably for reviews and the like? but that he wasn't going to repeat it as it goes against the nvidia embargo, I've not been able to find anything on it though?

I assume he was talking about Dmitri from Hardware Canucks who mentioned the 14th being when the FE embargo would be lifted.
