NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - OFFICIAL PRE-ORDER THREAD!

At 2pm on the dot is that the first time we will see correct prices or are they adjusted a little bit before?

From participating in both the 30 and 40 series launch the prices are only shown literally at launch.

I got a feeling the 5090 is going to be pretty much non existent - maybe 50 across all SKU's?

It's going to be even worse as well with both launching on the same day.. at least with the 4000 series it was only 4090's and not 80's as well

I was semi confident I could get one as of a few days ago when people were saying it took 11 mins to sell on the 5090. But as of today all confidence has gone especially if you are speculating 50 across the board lol!

With stock being so limited on release, I'm super tempted to just pick up a used 4080 a wait a few months for stock to normalise
That’s what I’m thinking atm. I’m going to have a build ready for a 5090/5080 whichever I decide. Currently have a RX 5600 XT so if I can’t get one on release day I’m gonna have to start looking at 4070ti Super or 4080 range for the meanwhile.

Gibbo lets say somebody manages to preorder on 30 of January.
What should be the delivery time expectation? normal like couple days or many weeks?

It's impossible to say since there's likely no fixed delivery dates or volume estimates for follow-up stock drops, for comparison back in 2020 I ordered a 3070 Ventus a few weeks after the launch in late November to join the pre-order queue (there was over 200 people ahead of me at the time) and took delivery of it just under 2 months later in January.

As others have voiced, we appreciate the transparency on the state of stock Gibbo. On Black Friday I was able to pick up a reasonably priced 4080 super with a generous holiday return period as "insurance" in the event i'm not fortunate to get an allocation of a 5080, given the "paper launch" sentiment it seems likely i'll be sticking with the 4000 series and probably pick up the inevitable 80ti/super or just wait for the 6000 series.

Yep, almost exactly the same boat but I've got a 6600xt atm

I am so jelly of youse guys with your flash back up cards. I am on a quaddro m4000 from 2015.....
I'm running on the intergrated graphics on my 9800X3D! I tried to play PoE2 with everything turned down to lowest and FSR on ultra performance, 7fps with a frametime of 150ms! :(

I had to RMA my GPU, it's coming back soon, but I think I'll just sell it before the influx of new ones. Based on that comment from Zotac, I wouldn't be surprised if they're not the only company without stock for launch.

If you are picking up a 4080 there isnt probably any need to upgrade unless you need the VRAM or just want a 5090.. going from a 4080-5080 going by what we have seen is only going to be a 10-15% difference.

Could someone please explain, do forum members get an advantage to buying the new GPU's? I've read a few posts but can't quite understand!

This is the main consolation for missing out on the launch assuming you have a viable substitute, i'll end up going from my 3070 to 16GB on the 4080 super so a much needed bump up, I don't tend to re-visit single player games after an initial playthough and with Rebirth & Monster Hunter Wilds in February replacing the 3070 now to improve the enjoyment of those titles and using the 4080 super for the foreseeable future makes the most sense for my own use-case.

Perhaps Nvidia have prioritized 5090 FE stock. I think some people will lose their minds if there' still 5090 FE stock a few hours after launch.

I'm not expecting there to be, but it would be great!
From what i have seen, even Nvidia employees have been advised that the FE stock on there own internal store is limited so i doubt FE's are going to be in great supply.
