Just noticed on the main website for 5090's the item found went from 22 to 15, im assuming its now showing which cards ocuk has in stock?
either that or are they updating them now the aib nda's have been lifted

Will the release date and time be 2pm UK time or 9:00am? I want to pick up a rtx 5080 to pair with a ryzen 9800x3D gaming pc build.

This launch is pure greed from both nvidia and the aibs invovled. Adding upwards of 800 quid onto the price of the fe is insanity? The card will not perform anywhere near 40% better, for 800 quid you could build a custom loop and block the cpu too...
Because it has an asus logo, they took the prize for the 40 series as well by having the most expensive gpu, that matrix 4090 with the custom aio cost around 3 grand!

From what ive heard which seems to be true but cant say 100%, a lot of retailers have single digit cards, so getting one on launch will be hard. Ontop of that, the website comes to a crawl so your constantly fighting a loading webpage. For context, the 4090's apparently sold out in 11 minutes, which had a fair bit more stock available. I dont think ill be partaking this launch, even tho ive got days off work due to the card i want isnt on their website anymore, but will still be an interesting one to watch! But, im hoping the msi boards do come back for the launch, or not long after!
Bots grabbing cards, scalpers grabbing them to resell for a profit. There's not many cards to go around so people buying one to flog on for a few hundred extra is definitely going to happen.
Barely any cards for quite a lot of people, issues with some holiday in china causing delays, the bots will gobble them all up. Earlier in this thread there were notions that there were very few cards at OCUK and other notions suggesting that vendors have already allocated their stock to buisnesses for release. This is all speculation though so we can only hope for the best

Msi cards have been added back so im back in the race lol! Bring on the 30th, first ever launch and no matter the outcome itll be a fun experience! i dont mind waiting a few weeks to months to get a card if they all sell out.

Cant remember which video it was, but they had thermals on the plug and was reading 70c and shot upto 80c a couple of times. I believe it was on the suprim but not 100% sure. Wont melt the connectors at that temp, but its definitely something that needs to have an eye kept on. I know when i get one, i wont be leaving the pc unattended whilst its on for the first few months atleast.
£800 for a fan. Hope it's gold plated, but probably whines like a b17ch
They must have got 5 more cards in, if they only had 10 actual yesterday

I’m hoping that once Chinese new year is over in mid feb we should be seeing some improved stock levels but with sea freight timings from China it could be end of March / beginning of April before we see any cards hitting these shores in numbers. Building a new PC this week and could really do with getting a 5080 on Thursday.
