NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - OFFICIAL PRE-ORDER THREAD!

Yeah after seeing 5080 reviews I have a hard time believing they'll be out of stock for too long, unless Nvidia are just keeping stock artificially low of course.
5090 is a little better but I must say this gen is looking pretty disappointing overall.
No wonder Nvidia stopped manufacturing 4090 so early lol

I had high hopes for the 5090 but I don't no if I would believe the lying leather jacket man again ..

@Gibbo (or anyone who knows, sorry I don't have the will to go through 50 pages...)

1/ When you guys put the cards live at (say) 14:00:01, will anyone who refreshes the page https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pc-c...-cards/nvidia-geforce-rtx-5090-graphics-cards - see cards that are actually in stock? Or will pretty much all 'theoretical' cards be listed in the same way, even if you don't have stock of a particular model?

2/ If/when all of a particular brand/model are purchased at err 14:05 - will that page, or the product page update real time to reflect they are gone?

3/ If a card that goes out of stock while I'm still putting payment details in, what happens? Waiting list? Or are cards reserved for a little while if I hit 'add to basket'?

I wasn't expecting much for the 5080 but its even worse then I feared! I'm going to be stuck on my 3080 forever at this rate! Might be time to ditch any new games for a generation, got plenty in my back catalogue to play that wont saturate my 10gb VRAM.

Unless you're a nvidia only gamer, the 9070 might be the upgrade you should be looking at. That's what I'm looking at, just need amd not to screw up on pricing.

I have an eye on it, I ditched my g-sync only monitor last year to a newer one that gives me the option of going AMD. Was really expecting a little bit more from nvidia this gen though. Was expecting the 5070ti to be the best bang for buck and offer 4080 speeds but not sure it will quite reach that having now seen the 5080.

No there isn't? If you want to be specific, you can only buy FEs from a single UK retailer via Nvidia's website.
You can buy from Nvidia direct or their official partner. And I don’t want to be specific as I have no intention of getting banned from here for them.

This release is just wrong from what we have just been showed with the 5080 its what the 5070 should be.

They could have easly gave it more performance and still have a super and ti version above

Not much hope for the lower end cards they really are betting on DLSS 4

I wonder why prices haven't gone live yet. Surely the buy orders have been confirmed, so the exchange rate for USD and whatever is known?

I imagine a lot of it is to stop bots getting prepared for launch tbh. Although I imagine Gibbo will update the forums tomorrow morning.
