Still not received an email receipt from the other site and now starting to think I imagined the confirmation page. I approved the transaction with my credit card app but it’s not showing as pending so think I lost out after all.

I have a feeling you're talking about the same one as me, how can we know without breaking forum rules?

I've been planning to upgrade from 3700X and RX 580 for a long time now, managed to get a 9800X3D in mid January after ordering at the start of December.
I told myself "I'm gonna place a pre-order right at the launch times for a 5090 this time", and here we are lol.
After the 2pm gateway apocalypse, you can't even imagine my disappointment to see the prices still at 25k after I got in...
An hour and 20 minutes later, nothing has changed...

For these hype items, they often do a manual recon so you'll only get the confirmation later today/tomorrow.

Same, probably the same place. They have already stated that pre-orders can be changed to other cards, and they will be transparent with pre-order positioning. Having said all of that, the expected delivery date is in May currently!

Well - gone 5080. Managed to get the Gigabyte RTX 5080 Aorus Xtreme. Sure - not a 5090, but should make a good replacement and improvement for my 4 year old 3090 Aorus Xtreme and mean I don't have to bugger about with 3rd party water blocks......... Now - like the rest of you, let's see if I get email confirmation, etc. Hopefully will be here early next week........

I've had a Palit 3080 for the last 4 years... has been rock solid. I've been entirely happy to the point where when I saw a Gamerock 5080 available, I snapped it up.

If one comes in stock elsewhere I'll just order that as well, and cancel the one that's 2-12 weeks....

If it's anything like how I managed to get a 3080 FE back in the day, as long as payment is cleared and your order page is showing 'awaiting picking' - you are good.
Last time it took about 6 hours from purchase to move on to the next status.

I would let it sit a while. That date is probably auto-generated and not accurate, esp since it's saying the same date for three different 5090s and one 5080.

Just gone and pre-ordered from a competitors website. Got the TUF 5090 but apparently the estimated date is at the end of May. Waiting time is 2-12 weeks. I see other people in the same boat from the specific competitor. Not received an email but money taken though (I did however get order confirmation page). Tried with my beloved Overclockers but the page crashed for about an hour on me.

Last time it took about 6 hours from purchase to move on to the next status.

I stupidly didnt make an account before purchasing so guest checkout. I got the confirmation page with no order confirm number however it said it'll be sent to my email (which was correct). Then prompted me to make an account but the order isnt in there either. Money is on the credit card so im happy waiting for now. Went from pre-order when I got it to now "Coming soon"... can only be all good signs so far.
