A fool and his money are easily parted! I thought the same when I saw the ROG card for £1.8K! You could snag a 4090 for less.. and have spare £ for a kebab!

Just ordered a Zotac Solid 5080 oc. £200 more than I was willingto spend but I need a card as i'm on onboard 9800x3d graphics

AIB prices are fairly crazy, but they were moaning that they are not getting a particularly good price from Nvidia for the chips. How real that is I don't know.
