5 people cancelled their 5090 pre-order, I've moved up to 94

.....Ahem, you know I was thinking I might keep my 4090 after all. It's still plenty fast enough at 4K and DLSS4 works on 40series, so why upgrade? The best way to stick it to NVIDIA, is if we all cancel our pre-orders at the same time! Who's with me?

I went for a full build, as my computer is aaancient (1070) and single graphic cards sold out too fast. In theory 5-7 working days while the PC gets built

My first order just got cancelled this morning with "No stock"

My second order queue position 153 for the PALIT 5080 GAMING PRO OC, 30th April.

Even worse is Alpha cool screwed up the compatibility list of the Palit waterblocks, they in fact do not support the game pro...my waterblock pre order is useless so I cancelled that. If I even get the card now, the cooler won't fit in my case

Seeing all the scalper cards on ebay is making me rage.

I would've rather went for a 5090 Palit + Heatkiller combo. I was gonna buy that but both OCUK and the 'other' retailer was selling only non-OC gamerock version... A third retailer had it listed but never became available for pre-sale (actually none of the 5090s became active, I think they had no GPUs).

I knew this and was running the Nvidia shop site 'incognito' too so it wasn't affected by the cookie thing. Was refreshing like a mother ****** from 1.59pm and it still went from coming soon to out of stock immediately. Absolute joke.

I genuinely have no idea how anybody managed to get an FE card. This was totally a 'paper' launch, which I think has been confirmed now.

Could have been worse according to Videocardz the entire FE stock in germany and across much of the rest of europe went to scalpers who snaffled the lot before it even went live

Absolute insane luck and lots of refreshing in the hour after they ran out. Something I learnt with the 40 series FE drops is quite often they'd sell out only for some to appear again within an hour or so. Perhaps due to rejected orders.

Looks like maybe a load of pre orders were cancelled tonight or a glitch in the system. No where near as many for my line now as there was 6pm.

Same here (186) - actual typical I’m placed in a queue with folk who have the resolve of steel.

Have you received a dispatch window yet? Mine just says “awaiting dispatch date”.
