The fun one yesterday was Nvidia's site going "down" ... except it wasn't if you deleted their cookies and reloaded. I'm not sure if it was some sort of anti-refresh feature or corrupted cookie data.
 
My first order just got cancelled this morning with "No stock"

My second order queue position 153 for the PALIT 5080 GAMING PRO OC, 30th April.

Even worse is Alpha cool screwed up the compatibility list of the Palit waterblocks, they in fact do not support the game pro...my waterblock pre order is useless so I cancelled that. If I even get the card now, the cooler won't fit in my case :(

Seeing all the scalper cards on ebay is making me rage.
 
Another competitor seems to have released more 5080s onto their website, so despite having 2x 5090s on order, I've decided to do the 'sensible' thing and grab an MSI Gaming Trio OC 5080, which was the card I was originally aiming for before I got FOMO. :cry:

Of course, I won't cancel any pre-orders until it is actually in my hands! I'll pocket the cash and perhaps put it towards a 6090 or 7090 in the future.

The retailer I did purchase from has a ‘track order’ section of their website. By putting in your invoice / order number and postcode (or email address) you can see which of the 4 stages of the order you are on. There is within this section also now a new link for ‘live order tracking’ this shows me in queue position 45. This is a Suprim 5090.

My dispatch times have also been updated:

Estimated Despatch Date: 7th Feb - 8th Feb

Estimated Delivery Date: 10th Feb - 14th Feb

Not sure it can be classed as greedy having pre-orders, it's not as if I'm going to be keeping/selling spare cards or anything. If anything, I'm giving back to this lovely community by giving up my pre-order space.

I knew this and was running the Nvidia shop site 'incognito' too so it wasn't affected by the cookie thing. Was refreshing like a mother ****** from 1.59pm and it still went from coming soon to out of stock immediately. Absolute joke.

I genuinely have no idea how anybody managed to get an FE card. This was totally a 'paper' launch, which I think has been confirmed now.
 
My MSI 5080 Gaming Trio arrived today, fitted it along with a new corsair Rm1000x 3.1 PSU. Just need a longer cable for the PSU I can route it around the bottom.

Ordered from the other place, 5090 Zotac solid, order placed and payment taken at 15:51 but order email not received until 16:52. Number 279 in que! June expected delivery! Seems like I’m behind others who ordered same model at a later time.

Just curious to know if I ordered while it was in-stock - Am I in a queue. To confirm it was saying in-stock and purchasable - not showing as pre-order?

Unfortunately - is there is NO way to track the order as a guest although I received my order number already?

If any site you bought from has your email - either through paypal or manually entering (which I imagine these must have asked for). You can create an account with the same email and things should show in your orders.
 
I see people being 20...40...200 in queue. I am 394 for Zotac SOLID 5090 from the other place, never getting . Guess I will be rocking my 3080 for a while.

You would think so. But that’s not the case here. I have a confirmed order received email from OCUK. I have created an account of the same email and orders are empty.
 
5 people cancelled their 5090 pre-order, I've moved up to 94 :cool:

.....Ahem, you know I was thinking I might keep my 4090 after all. It's still plenty fast enough at 4K and DLSS4 works on 40series, so why upgrade? The best way to stick it to NVIDIA, is if we all cancel our pre-orders at the same time! Who's with me? ;)
