Paying £300 over the MSRP price seems like panic buying to me.Wouldn't say £2249 is panic buying for those that got one.
I am sure there are certain websites who offered pre-order on that card for more than £2249.
It is not an MSRP card though to be fair, those are the GamingPro versions.Paying £300 over the MSRP price seems like panic buying to me.

Probably totally depends on the person and their finances.Paying £300 over the MSRP price seems like panic buying to me.
Mine was in January 2006, a 7800 GTX 512 for $750 -- an unheard of amount for a graphics card at the time. The much improved 7900 GTX came out just two months later and costed $500Worst ‘overbuy’ from me was paying >£900 for a 5950x at the peak of the 3000 series Crytpo / Covid builds. Dark days!
I'd say the Suprim is. But probably £1599/£1699 for the Astral. The Astral 5080 is the top dog, what would people consider to be a reasonable normal retailer price?
That assumes msrp cards exist in the UK. Outside of the Fe, which people might not want for build reasons, there doesn't seem to be any. The ventus has been msrp at a few places but I only saw it in stock for a second and it didn't seem like it got restocked when msi had a drop earlier this week.Paying £300 over the MSRP price seems like panic buying to me.
