NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

This is the problem with not upgrading GPU very often. I bought my 3060 Ti for £380 on launch and thinking "this is a crazy amount of money for a mid range card, it's more than I paid for my 8800 GTX" and I've been stuck unable to upgrade since because somehow the performance/£ only keeps going down over time
The performance goes up but only if you’re willing to pay more each time you upgrade, this is the new Nvidia reality.

So after my jubilation at securing one of the MSI Gaming Trio 5090's, I've been left disappointed. Turns out the other vendor over-sold the stock, and therefore has cancelled my order. :(

Luckily, I didn't cancel my pre-orders, but it is gutting nonetheless. I'm back on the hunt and/or the wait!

I thought I got one, a 5080 in the jungle. However, the order says "We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date." which doesn't sound good. Probably going to be cancelled. :(

Since the order is still live, it might mean the next drop of this card fulfils the order? We'll see.

Lord have mercy on me. I caved and bought the Asus 5080 from OcUk.

I am sorry to all my fellow forum dudes.
I managed to get a Gigabyte 5080 from OC from the Stock Alerts. Got confirmation email and everything so presume it’s all good? In the end only £100 over my original order from the other place. We'll see.
