NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

I have a pre-order in for a Astral OC 5080 at MRSP (£1375) at another retailer who say they expect stock on the 14th at the earliest. Whether or not they'll honour that price we'll see.

I would agree for the top end models, then the lower models should be cheaper accordingly.

Currently the lower models are being scalped for more than £1,375.

I don't feel I have any FOMO. I have a pre-order in at MSRP at a price I'm willing to pay, seems fine to me. Obviously supply will even out eventually, but I'd rather have a GPU sooner than in 6 months+.
Same. I'm in line (40s, keeps moving) for a 5090, and can wait for it to be fulfilled. I played a good deal of Rogue Trader, BG3 KC2 over last two evenings. All three games run very even at 4k on my back-up 6950xt. I stepped away from my desk last night thinking "I'm spending £2300 for what...?"

I think many people will think this once the dust settles.

That was exactly my feeling playing on my 3050 a few days ago. I thought Red Dead 2 was a demanding title, but at 4k, mostly high settings it looked incredible and was at 60fps+. Don't get me wrong still going to go for a higher end card but not a top end one anymore.

This is the problem with not upgrading GPU very often. I bought my 3060 Ti for £380 on launch and thinking "this is a crazy amount of money for a mid range card, it's more than I paid for my 8800 GTX" and I've been stuck unable to upgrade since because somehow the performance/£ only keeps going down over time

I love them. You're never alone in a que.

Well, I'm still 14th in a queue for a Gigabyte 5090 Gaming OC and I'd rather have my card! :p
