NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Pre-builts had priority before in the 4xxx series and 3xxx series. When they promise to deliver these in a much shorter time than a single GPU they allocate GPU's to these because the profit is greater. By how much is debatable but they get more than a single GPU. Also I have noticed articles popping up on my phone saying the best way to get a 5xxx is buy a pre-built. I've seen some quite reasonably priced 5080 pre-builts so you can see why people might go that way. Stick your old GPU in it and sell the whole lot off 2nd hand. Just checked and the 5080 PC's are in stock and the 5090 PC's are 2 week delivery.
I mean that was the recommendation back in the 30 series disaster too, buy a prebuilt and try and sell the parts. Cheaper than the scalpers.

Crazy it comes to that though.

Right... new resolution. I'm going to limit myself to one check per day of my queue position at the other place.

Let's see how long that lasts.
I told myself I wasn't going to check today - no point.
What was the first thing I did when I came back from my lunch?!?!

The site says update at 17.30 tonight... so that means I'll have to check again later ‍

I managed to get the order confirmed email but no tracking info or shipping info. Hopefully not missed the cut.
I called them and they could not provide any more information, delivery not confirmed yet but expected tomorrow, apparently should be DPD next day delivery, but we shall see i guess
