• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Apparently nVidia give you 15 mins to checkout once it's in your basket - so plenty of time to get through the checkout etc

Yeah exactly, so as long as you click on Add to Basket in time, that's all that matters - then you've got 15 min to actually buy it.
Ideally this bot would check every 5 seconds. That's a 4x increase in luck.

So I managed to grab an 5090 FE today, so now have a spare 5080 (bought from competitor it's now outside the 14 day return window). Where's the best place to sell other than eBay?

100% Avforums. Ebay is a massive risk with their new selling rules.

must have been a drop today of certain cards.
But £2699 for a Palit is taking the michael.

They sold out though within minutes - So fair play to Overclockers.

Very bad for OC not to respect when it's in basket. Went through bank verification, still couldn't complete the order as it went OOS. FFS!

CNY finished yesterday so I expect drops to be more frequent but agree with others £2700 for a Palit is taking the biscuit... same amount I paid for a Asus Astral elsewhere

As I said, it's luck. If they managed to refresh right at the time the API updated, and they weren't getting cached or sent to a different website server that hadn't been updated then it's still possible to get it manually. It's just more of a dice roll.
If you already the Nvidia website open and are hitting refresh, it is very unlikely you will be served a live page showing stock before it sells out.
